On July 26, a grand ceremony was held to celebrate the achievement of 100,000 barrels per day capacity at the Iraq Block 9 Central Oil Processing Facility project. Our company, Santacc, signed a contract with China CAMC Engineering Co., LTD (CAMCE) Block 9 of Iraq to provide equipment for the construction of its crude oil central treatment facility, including 2 dehydration skids, electric desalting skid, instrumental air receiver tank, gas scrubber tank, general tank, slop tank and drain tank and so on.

Hayan, Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, Ji Gang, the Consul General of China in Basra,Yang Zhigang, General Manager of CAMCE’s Sixth Engineering Division, Wang Hongbo, General Manager of CMMEC, Geng Kui and Huang Bin, Deputy General Manager of CAMCE’s Sixth Engineering Division, as well as members of the project team took photos in front of our electric desalting equipment.

The project was successfully commissioned on April 27, 2024, and achieved the milestone of 100,000 barrels of oil per day on July 26. Santacc has successfully contributed to the goal achievement of the Iraq Block 9 Central Oil Processing Facility project.
