Taking water as raw material, utilizing surplus, cheap and unstorable valley electricity or electricity generated from renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic, wind power, hydropower, etc.; catalytic electrolysis of water is carried out, and water molecules undergo electrochemical reactions on the electrodes, generating hydrogen at the cathode and oxygen at the anode. The gas produced in the electrolyser enters the hydrogen and oxygen separation and scrubbing tank for gas-liquid separation, scrubbing and cooling, and then enters the back-end equipment for purification and drying. The generated hydrogen is tested and qualified for energy conversion, storage, transportation or reuse.
